Short Game Shot Library

Final Boss Golf separates mechanics from applications. Core Mechanics install bounce geometry, passive release, trajectory windows, carry levels, and landing-zone logic. Specific Shots apply that OS to the situations golfers search for on course—tight lies, bump-and-runs, lobs, checkers, and bunkers.

Use this page as the router: match your lie and green to a shot type, open the tactical lesson, then calibrate with the linked drill.

Optimization: Mechanics Before Shots

If bounce skim or passive release is unstable, every shot in this library fails the same way. Confirm the Short Game Blueprint training sequence before loading shot-specific reps.

Training Order

Motor learning runs mechanics → window → shot type:

  1. Geometry of Bounce + Hinge-and-Hold Myth
  2. Trajectory Control + Carry Calibration
  3. Shot Selection & Landing Zones
  4. Specific ShotsTight-Lie Chip and Bump-and-Run on tight practice lies; Bunker Shots in sand
Epic Fail: Shot Library Without Skim

Running bump-and-run reps while the wedge still digs on tight lies means the low-point or bounce pillar failed—not the shot choice. Return to Tight-Lie Chip or Trail-Hand Chip Protocol before changing clubs.

Grooving This Pattern

Each Specific Shots page includes its own Grooving This Pattern block. This router does not replace those protocols—it picks which shot to grooove today.
